No, you do not need to provide us or the property with negative test results for booking a room. All hotel properties have their own health screening procedures. Please make sure to review West Virginia's health and safety guidelines before planning your trip to Snowshoe, as the procedures are constantly changing.

If you have tested positive for COVID-19 and have an upcoming reservation with Snowshoeskivacation, please contact us immediately. Unfortunately, you will not be able to use any pools or hot tubs for free with your reservation. In close proximity to the Village, there is a public indoor/outdoor pool with hot tubs named Split Rock Pools. Towels are provided, and the admission charge can be paid at the door (around $15 per person).

Information on your stay will be sent via the communication thread within AirBnB or Booking.com if you have made a reservation through one of those websites. Please check your email if you made your reservation somewhere else (like VRBO or snowshoeskivacation.com). All of the information that we provide to our visitors is delivered to the email address connected to their reservation, so they will receive it there. Our check-in instructions are delivered specifically a week before your arrival. Check your spam folder if you don't see anything from us in your inbox.

If you have rented a unit at Mountain Lodge, you will receive your parking pass from the security guard at the entrance to Mountain Lodge’s parking lot. The number of parking passes that you receive are based on the number of bedrooms in your unit (i.e. 1BR units get one pass, 2BR units get two passes, 3BR units get three passes, etc.) If you have more vehicles than passes, the extra cars will need to be parked across the street in the general parking area or up at Top of the World.
Depending on your provider, cell reception in Snowshoe can be spotty. Old-fashioned landlines are available in every one of our accommodations, and both local and long-distance calls are completely free.
Near Snowshoe, there are no big grocery stores. A SubWay with some basic grocery items is connected to a ParMar gas station at the base of the mountain. On top of the mountain, there is a tiny food store named Wildcat Provisions. Although they do carry some necessities, everything there is incredibly pricey.

Do not leave any personal items in any of our condominiums, please. Make sure you have everything packed by checking it several times. We cannot promise that lost things will be discovered by staff members and returned. During the ski season, neither we nor our housekeepers have the time to return items back to visitors.

You will proceed directly to the Silver Creek condo building (1 Silver Creek Rd, Snowshoe WV, 26209) and access the unit with the key code. When arriving at the Silver Creek Lodge, if there is a guard at the gate, you will provide them your name and condo number and they will provide you a parking pass. If there is no guard on the Silver Creek Lodge entrance, drive-in and go to the covered main entrance to unload your car. After unloading your car, park your car in the parking lot (avoiding any reserved or restricted spaces).
Early check ins and late check outs can be provided on special request based on availability when booked directly on our website for Allegheny, Highland house, Expedition, Seneca, Rimfire and some limited Mountain lodge condos.

Silver Creek ski area provides great trails, terrain parks, and night skiing. Silver Creek is also home to the Coca-Cola Tube Park and Adaptive Sports Program.
