Unfortunately, you will not be able to use any pools or hot tubs for free with your reservation. In close proximity to the Village, there is a public indoor/outdoor pool with hot tubs named Split Rock Pools. Towels are provided, and the admission charge can be paid at the door (around $15 per person).

Information on your stay will be sent via the communication thread within AirBnB or Booking.com if you have made a reservation through one of those websites. Please check your email if you made your reservation somewhere else (like VRBO or snowshoeskivacation.com). All of the information that we provide to our visitors is delivered to the email address connected to their reservation, so they will receive it there. If you have rented a unit at Mountain Lodge, you will receive your parking pass from the security guard at the entrance to Mountain Lodge’s parking lot. The number of parking passes that you receive are based on the number of bedrooms in your unit (i.e. 1BR units get one pass, 2BR units get two passes, 3BR units get three passes, etc.) If you have more vehicles than passes, the extra cars will need to be parked across the street in the general parking area or up at Top of the World.

Depending on your provider, cell reception in Snowshoe can be spotty. Old-fashioned landlines are available in every one of our accommodations, and both local and long-distance calls are completely free.

Near Snowshoe, there are no big grocery stores. A SubWay with some basic grocery items is connected to a ParMar gas station at the base of the mountain. On top of the mountain, there is a tiny food store named Wildcat Provisions. Although they do carry some necessities, everything there is incredibly pricey.

Do not leave any personal items in any of our condominiums, please. Make sure you have everything packed by checking it several times. We cannot promise that lost things will be discovered by staff members and returned. During the ski season, neither we nor our housekeepers have the time to return items back to visitors.

Mountain Lodge is located just steps away from the Snowshoe Village, the place to be for summer and winter activities and events.

Early check ins and late check outs can be provided on special request based on availability when booked directly on our website for Allegheny, Highland house, Expedition, Seneca, Rimfire and some limited Mountain lodge condos.

You can access the Split Rocks Pools Swimming Pool and Hot Tub by paying usage fee. This is a 3rd party owned property and is not included in your rental. The great news is that it is just outside the Mountain Lodge parking lot and is a convenient walk. It has a pool and two hot tubs. Just like any great swimming hole, Split Rocks Pools is as fun for the adults as it is for the kids. They will splash around the indoor/outdoor heated swimming area zipping down the slide and making new friends, while you relax in the sauna and hot tub and take in the gorgeous views. It is a win-win, the perfect place to play and unwind all at the same time. Adults pay $15 per person/per day for this access. Kids under 6 are complementary.

Mountain Lodge is one of the only buildings on the mountain which allows free parking to its guests. Free parking is only available after 5:00 PM on the day of your check-in. You will be provided 1 free parking pass per bedroom so 1 free parking pass for 1-bedroom condo and 2 free parking passes for 2-bedrooms. If you have additional vehicles, you will need to park across the street in the general parking area. And yes, there is a balcony in this unit.

Take the Ballhooter lift to Shaver’s Lake for summer activities that include fishing, kayaks, canoes, paddle boats, swimming or just relaxing on the sandy beach. You can ride your mountain bike directly from the mountain entrance of Mountain Lodge accessing miles of trails and return on the hi speed quad chair lift and you and your bike are home again! Mountain Lodge has a strict“no pets” policy that is rigidly enforced. You may not bring a pet. Pets are not permitted in any unit or upon any Common Element of Mountain Lodge Association property, by any party. $300 punitive fine will be imposed if pets are detected inside of the building. Having said that, service animals are allowed within Mountain Lodge. Please be prepared to register the Pet during check in at Front desk with paperwork. You may not leave the Pet alone in the room during your stay.
